The investigation can kick off at the impressive Dormition of the Theotokos Cathedral, one of Varna’s landmark sights, though teams are free to begin elsewhere in the city center to tailor the experience. Armed with the CityHunters app, smartphones become indispensable detective tools: the app guides groups through streets and alleys while they crack tricky puzzles and gather clues to unmask the culprit.
Varna provides an atmospheric backdrop for this team building event. History and culture are woven into the route, with stops like the Varna Archaeological Museum and the Roman Thermae in Varna offering inspiration and context as teams map out their next investigative moves.
Discover the secrets of Varna
Along the route the app will also lead teams past the Dormition of the Theotokos Cathedral, an architectural gem whose details can be admired from the outside while the next riddle is solved. Observing the façade without entering allows focus to remain on the mission while still soaking in the city’s grandeur.
Another highlight is the Boris Georgiev City Art Gallery, where striking artworks spur creative thinking and show how different perspectives and ideas can be combined to reach a solution. That same collaborative spirit is exactly what turns a good team into a great investigative unit.
