Treasure Hunt Oslo
Imagine a team standing in the heart of Oslo, buzzing with anticipation and just a hint of mystery, about to take on an adventure that will be remembered long after the coffee break. The CityHunters treasure hunt team building event is more than a pastime — it is a lively journey through Oslo's history and culture that will test collaboration and team spirit. Get ready to solve puzzles, gather clues and uncover the hidden prize while enjoying the cityscape.
An adventure through the streets of Oslo
The action kicks off at Prinsens gate 26, a convenient central spot from which the treasure hunt begins, though the route can also be launched from another downtown location if preferred. Armed with the CityHunters app and a healthy dose of team spirit, groups set off to reveal the city’s secrets. Oslo’s blend of historic corners and contemporary design makes the perfect setting for a memorable team building event, with attractive streets and architecture to explore along the way.
Historic landmarks and modern challenges
On the route, teams will pass some of Oslo’s most famous sights. The imposing Akershus Fortress overlooks the harbor and whispers of Viking pasts and medieval strategy. Nearby, the Oslo Opera House delivers a striking example of modern design that invites exploration as well as contemplation. Other highlights may include the Royal Palace, the Munch Museum, Oslo City Hall and the Nobel Peace Center, each offering a rich backdrop for puzzles that blend culture and challenge.
Teamwork and strategy
The CityHunters treasure hunt is designed to be more than entertainment — it demands strategy, creativity and clear communication. Every team member gets a chance to shine, contributing unique skills to crack clues and piece together information. While some will tackle analytical riddles, others will spot subtle details and collect vital hints. This kind of team building experience strengthens bonds and builds trust in a way that conventional meetings rarely do.
Flexibility and freedom
One of the biggest advantages of the CityHunters treasure hunt is its flexibility. Teams can choose the start time and set the adventure’s length to suit their schedule, which makes it an ideal option for a company outing. Whether used as a standalone team building event, a fun addition to a company summer party or folded into a department celebration, the format adapts easily to different needs and group sizes.
Culinary treats and local anecdotes
Along the way there are plenty of chances to sample Oslo’s food scene. A short pause at a cosy café offers an opportunity to taste Norwegian waffles topped with jam and cream or to enjoy other local specialties that fuse tradition with modern flair. These small stops provide a welcome breather and a chance to enjoy the city’s hospitality while swapping discoveries and stories.

The CityHunters treasure hunt in Oslo creates moments that bring teams closer together. Overcoming challenges and finding the treasure will reveal the city from a fresh perspective and foster new connections among colleagues.
