Murder Mystery Tour Dublin
A shadowy secret drifts through the streets of Dublin, and it falls to the team to piece together the clues and bring the culprit to light. The CityHunters Murder Mystery Tour invites colleagues to don detective hats and see the city from a fresh perspective. With Dublin's rich history and lively culture as a backdrop, it makes a superb team building experience in Dublin that combines intrigue, strategy and cooperation — perfect for a company outing or an unforgettable departmental celebration.
Your investigation begins in the heart of Dublin
Saint Stephen's Green serves as the idyllic starting point for the adventure, though the Murder Mystery Tour can be set to begin elsewhere in the city centre for maximum flexibility. Armed with the intuitive CityHunters app, smartphones become indispensable investigative tools — far handier than a map and much less likely to flap in the wind. With no fixed start times or external supervision, teams can shape the team building event in Dublin to suit their own pace and preferences, which is especially appealing to companies seeking uncomplicated and innovative team building events.
As teams make their way through Dublin, they will encounter exciting tasks and tricky puzzles at several iconic locations. From the medieval marvel of Christ Church Cathedral to the historic halls of Dublin Castle and the scholarly atmosphere of Trinity College Dublin, each stop adds colour and context to the investigation. Clues uncovered at the National Library of Ireland, National Gallery of Ireland or the National Museum of Ireland will steadily reveal more of the gripping story winding through the city streets, while the Samuel Beckett Bridge and the General Post Office provide striking backdrops for pivotal moments in the case.
An interactive experience for teamwork and strategy
The CityHunters Murder Mystery Tour is far more than a typical Scavenger Hunt. The app enriches the experience with multimedia content — photos, videos and audio recordings that turn phones into real investigative hubs. Teams analyse evidence together, identify suspects and form hypotheses. Communication, analytical thinking and a knack for spotting connections are essential ingredients for success.
Every participant can contribute their strengths, whether as a strategist, a creative thinker or a keen observer. This playful interaction promotes a lasting team building experience in Dublin, improving collaboration while delivering genuine value and enjoyment. The varied tasks and compelling storyline keep participants engaged and ensure the event remains a memorable highlight.
Thrills, fun and a touch of history
Dublin is a city rich in history, culture and gastronomy. After a day of sleuthing, teams can relax in one of the city’s traditional pubs and refuel with a pint of Guinness or a plate of fish and chips. These local favourites are a staple of any company outing to Dublin and offer a perfect chance to reflect on the adventure and bond further as a group.
Along the way, participants will pass several of the city’s most notable landmarks, including Trinity College Dublin, St Patrick's Cathedral and the General Post Office, each offering both a dramatic setting for the investigation and opportunities to learn about Dublin’s heritage and character.
Flexibility and freedom for your team building event
A major benefit of the CityHunters Murder Mystery Tour is its flexibility. Teams decide when and how to play their team building event in Dublin. The tour is available at any time and requires minimal logistics or advance planning. After downloading the CityHunters app and activating the game code, the team can begin immediately.
