Treasure Hunt Dortmund
An exciting adventure awaits the team in Dortmund! At the CityHunters team building event treasure hunt, participants get to explore the city in an entirely new way. Armed with smartphones and the CityHunters app, teams hunt for a hidden treasure. This one-of-a-kind experience blends teamwork, a taste for adventure and Dortmunds rich history into a memorable outing. Whether planned as a company outing to Dortmund, a department celebration or a company summer party, this event is an ideal chance to strengthen team spirit while seeing the city from a fresh angle.
Starting point of the treasure hunt
The adventure kicks off at Dortmund Central Station, right in the heart of the city. If desired, the starting point can be moved to another central location to suit specific needs. From here, the treasure hunt leads through lively streets and squares, and presents chances to spot landmarks such as St. Reinoldi, whose long history and striking architecture set a dramatic tone for the route.
A team building event in Dortmund with historic flair
The route also passes the Dortmund U-Tower, a former brewery building turned cultural hub that now pulses with art and creativity. Its modern façade and the iconic U-Tower silhouette make it a standout on the skyline. Places like this, mixing heritage and contemporary culture, make Dortmund an excellent setting for a team building experience. The juxtaposition of old and new creates an inspiring backdrop for the whole team.
Puzzles and challenges for the team
The CityHunters app guides teams from puzzle to puzzle, letting every participant contribute their unique strengths. Some team members will enjoy applying logic and deduction to crack clues, while others will excel at spotting subtle hints or proposing creative solutions. This dynamic form of team building experience not only boosts collaboration but also improves communication across the group. With every solved challenge the team grows tighter and anticipation builds.
Experience Dortmunds cultural variety
Another highlight of the treasure hunt is encountering Dortmunds cultural diversity. The tour might pass the Petrikirche (Dortmund), admired for its distinctive winged altarpiece, or the Museum für Kunst und Kulturgeschichte, which showcases the citys artistic and cultural heritage. Even without entering every site, the architecture and historical resonance of these stops enrich the experience and help make the team building event in Dortmund truly unforgettable.
A flexible and engaging team building experience
The major advantage of the CityHunters treasure hunt is its flexibility. Teams can start the tour whenever it suits them and proceed at their own pace, which makes it perfect for a company outing or a company summer party. Without rigid schedules, groups can savor the city at their own rhythm and enjoy the adventure. That freedom makes the treasure hunt especially attractive for companies seeking a straightforward yet exciting team building activity.
