Team Building Event SHK eG
Heidelberg, the picturesque city on the Neckar River, is renowned for its rich history and breathtaking architecture. On May 8, 2026, this historic setting became the backdrop for a very special team building event: the iPad Tour with the company SHK eG. 150 enthusiastic participants gathered at Neckarmünzplatz to embark on an exciting journey of discovery in 30 teams.
With a smile, I welcomed the participants and introduced them to the secrets of our high-tech scavenger hunt. Equipped with iPads and the CityHunters app, the teams set off on an adventure that uniquely combined fun and team building in Heidelberg. The teams navigated through the winding alleys of the old town, past the majestic Heidelberg Castle ruins and the venerable Ruprecht-Karls-University Heidelberg.
During the tour, the teams were on their own, competing for every point by solving tricky puzzles and mastering creative team tasks. The participants experienced Heidelberg in a completely new way, getting to know not only the city but also their colleagues better. The blend of history, culture, and cutting-edge technology made this team building experience in Heidelberg an unforgettable one.
After 4.75 hours filled with excitement and team spirit, everyone gathered again at Neckarmünzplatz for the awards ceremony. There was great joy as Team 20 was declared the winner with 375 points. Close behind were Team 21 with 360 points and Team 10 with 345 points. The top teams were awarded medals, and the atmosphere was jubilant.
The iPad Tour in Heidelberg once again proved how effective and entertaining team building can be. The combination of interactive tasks, exploring landmarks like the Old Bridge and the Church of the Holy Spirit, and the challenge of competing brought the participants together and left lasting memories.
A big thank you to the company SHK eG for this fantastic day full of discoveries, laughter, and team spirit. Heidelberg has once again proven to be the perfect place for team building events and will surely remain in our memories for a long time.
