Team Building Event Kreissparkasse Ludwigsburg
The participants from Kreissparkasse Ludwigsburg met on September 26, 2025 at 2:00 PM in Heidelberg for an exciting afternoon full of puzzles and team spirit.
As team guide I welcomed the 14 colleagues at University Square and gave a short introduction to the rules. After a brief briefing we split the group into three teams. Each team received a tablet with our special app, which displayed the criminal cases and the next locations around the city. Familiar spots like Heidelberg Castle, the Old Bridge and the Church of the Holy Spirit quickly became an exciting backdrop for our investigations.
Then the group set off: during the tour the teams were on their own and competed in a friendly contest to score the most points. Points were awarded for correctly solving puzzles as well as for creative team tasks that required cooperation and communication. Technology met adventure – the app led to various crime scenes that hid clues and invited participation. I was available by phone throughout the game in case any questions or technical problems arose.
The weather was quite pleasant and did nothing to dampen the mood: sunny stretches and fresh air made exploring the streets and squares even more enjoyable. It was especially nice to see how the event strengthened togetherness – a real team building experience in Heidelberg that is fun and brings people together. It quickly became clear how different strengths within the teams complemented one another and how colleagues briefly became investigators.
After 2.5 hours all teams met again at University Square for the award ceremony. On the podium stood the winning team CSI Heidelberg with 285 points, followed by Turtels with 225 points and Fantastic Four with 180 points. The joy over the solved cases and the shared experience was great.
Murder Mystery Geocaching is a wonderful way to experience a team building experience in Heidelberg: thrilling puzzles, iconic sights and genuine teamwork make the event an unforgettable company event. I am already looking forward to the next round of investigations in this vibrant city.
