Team Building Event FALK GmbH & Co KG

Our Murder Mystery Geocaching blends city exploration, puzzle fun and teamwork into a captivating event concept that brings groups together in a whole new way.

On May 23, 2025 at 2:30 PM I met the 16 participants from FALK GmbH & Co KG at Universitaetsplatz in Heidelberg as team guide. After a brief introduction the teams were formed and the rules explained – three teams set off full of anticipation on their investigations. Each participant received the necessary clues and access to the app, which showed the crime scenes along the route and provided the tasks.

In perfect weather the teams set off on their own to follow the clues through the old town. Along the way they passed well-known locations: from Heidelberg Castle to the Church of the Holy Spirit and the Old Bridge – perfect backdrops for our murder mystery adventure. The mix of digital clues and hands-on team challenges made clear how technology and adventure go hand in hand during a team building experience in Heidelberg.

The teams competed for points awarded for correctly solved puzzles and successfully completed team tasks. As team guide I was available by phone throughout the tour to help with questions, but much was solved independently by the teams. Working with that level of responsibility fostered cohesion, exactly what makes a team building experience in Heidelberg so effective.

After exactly three hours all groups met again at Universitaetsplatz for the award ceremony. The winning team Error 404 scored an impressive 330 points, closely followed by Die Secco-Mädels with 300 points and Tatort HD in third place with 270 points. The mood during the final round was lively and encouraging, and it was clear how much fun everyone had puzzling and discovering together.

Experiences like this show once again that a team building experience in Heidelberg brings people together, creates shared memories and strengthens collaboration in a lasting way. I am already looking forward to the next investigations in this beautiful city and invite teams to set off on their own search for clues.
