Team Building Event Universität Ulm
Perfect late summer weather accompanied our Murder Mystery tour through Ulm and put everyone in great spirits.
As the CityHunters team guide, on September 4, 2024 at 9:00 AM I welcomed 20 staff members from Ulm University. We met as planned at the market square in the city center, where I gave a brief introduction and we formed the teams: four groups set off on the trail, ready for real thrills and collaborative puzzle solving.
Our Murder Mystery Geocaching combined adventure with teamwork. Each team worked independently and received the tasks through the app on the provided tablet. Participants visited crime scenes, gathered clues, and solved tricky challenges to earn points. Points were awarded for correctly solved puzzles and team tasks completed together, a perfect mix of play, strategy, and communication. I was reachable by phone throughout the tour in case anyone needed last-minute assistance.
The route took the teams past well-known spots that make Ulm special. Along the way we enjoyed views of the Ulm Minster, caught sight of the town hall, and even included Museum Ulm in our investigations. It is precisely this combination of city exploration and detective work that makes our team building experience in Ulm so valuable: you rediscover the city while sharpening team spirit.
After an exciting, active three hours of play, all teams met back at the market square for the awards ceremony. The scores were close and the atmosphere was exuberant. First place went to team Ulmer Spatzen with 285 points. In second place was Metall with 255 points, closely followed by Ulmer Mäuse, also with 255 points — well-deserved applause to everyone involved!
Events like this show how much fun a team building experience in Ulm can be: you discover the city, solve puzzles together, and celebrate shared successes. As a team guide I enjoy working with motivated groups like this and I am already looking forward to the next investigations in Ulm.
