Team Building Event Reha Einrichtung Denkendorf
Esslingen am Neckar charms with its mix of historic atmosphere and a lively downtown — the perfect setting for our modern team building experience.
As a CityHunters team guide I had the pleasure of leading an iPad Tour at 1:00 PM on August 1, 2024, for 21 participants from the Denkendorf rehabilitation center. We met on Beblingerstraße in Esslingen am Neckar, where I welcomed the group and introduced them to the CityHunters App and how to use the iPads.
The group was split into five teams, handed their iPads, and plunged into the adventure. Our iPad Tour blends history, culture and modern technology, letting teams discover landmarks such as the city church St. Dionys, the Frauenkirche and the Postmichel Fountain in a playful way. The challenges demanded observation, creativity and cooperation, and provided a real team building experience in Esslingen am Neckar.
During the tour the teams were on their own, competing in a friendly contest for the highest score. Points were awarded for correctly solved puzzles and collaborative team tasks. The CityHunters App displayed live standings and added extra motivation; I was reachable by phone for technical questions to provide quick support.
The weather was pleasant and added to the good mood — sunny enough to enjoy the city and mild enough to be comfortable while completing the tasks. That left time not only for solving puzzles but also to soak up the atmosphere of Esslingen am Neckar.
After an hour and a half all teams returned to our starting point on Beblingerstraße for the award ceremony. On the podium were Linsen mit Spätzle with 135 points, closely followed by Team Cool with 125 points and Team Banane with 115 points.
I really enjoyed guiding this team building experience in Esslingen am Neckar. Tours like this combine team spirit, fun and city exploration in a special way — an experience that lingers long after.
