Murder Mystery Tour Turku
Turku, Finland's oldest city, is famous for its layered history and striking architecture. Now it also offers a fresh kind of adventure for groups: the CityHunters Murder Mystery Tour. This experience lets teams step into the shoes of investigators and unravel a compelling case while soaking up the city's atmosphere—an engaging team building experience in Turku that will stick in everyone's memory.
A Murder Mystery Tour full of puzzles and intrigue
The adventure kicks off at the Old Great Square, though groups can choose a different downtown starting point if preferred. The city becomes the scene of a mysterious crime waiting to be solved. With the CityHunters App, smartphones turn into investigative tools, guiding participants through winding streets and open squares while presenting clever puzzles that inch the team closer to the truth.
Turku provides an ideal backdrop for a team building event. Landmarks such as Turku Cathedral, Åbo Akademi University and Turku Market Square lend character to the game, while stops at the Wäinö Aaltonen Museum of Art and the Turku Art Museum add cultural flavor. Each location contributes to the mood of the mystery and enriches the team building experience.
Teamwork and strategy take center stage
Success in the Murder Mystery Tour depends on teamwork. Colleagues need to pool observations, identify suspects, and craft strategies together. Clear communication and cooperative problem-solving are tested—and strengthened—throughout the game, making this an effective team building experience that boosts rapport and collaboration.
The Murder Mystery Tour is flexible and self-guided, so it can fit into a variety of occasions: a company outing, a department celebration, or even a company summer party. Because the tour runs independently, little extra coordination is required, allowing teams to focus on the plot and the fun.
An experience for all the senses
As teams roam Turku, the puzzles will grip their attention, but the city itself will do its share of captivating them. Explore the atmospheric Luostarinmäki museum quarter, admire the stained glass of Martin's Church, or take in the distinctive architecture of the Turku Orthodox Church. A detour to the Sibelius Museum offers a musical pause in the middle of the chase.
Food also plays a part. Turku's dining scene ranges from traditional Finnish fare to international options, giving teams plenty of chances to refuel and compare theories over a meal after the tour.
An unforgettable and practical outcome
The Murder Mystery Tour mixes entertainment with real workplace benefits. Teams practice trust, communication and joint decision-making—skills that transfer directly back to the office. This team building experience leaves a lasting impression on group dynamics and morale.
