Treasure Hunt Trier
An exciting adventure awaits in Trier, the oldest city in Germany, where a CityHunters team building event treasure hunt turns colleagues into modern-day treasure seekers. Armed with smartphones and the CityHunters app, teams set off on an engaging exploration through cobblestone streets and historic squares, making this treasure hunt the ideal team building experience for a company outing, a departmental celebration or a memorable company summer party.
An adventure in Germany's oldest city
Begin the route at the Stockplatz or any preferred meeting point in the city centre and step straight into Trier’s layered past. The Porta Nigra provides a dramatic opening scene with its massive Roman stones and instant sense of history, perfect for cracking the first clues and warming up the competitive spirit without breaking a sweat.
Unravel Roman riddles
The treasure hunt soon leads to the Aula Palatina, a former imperial hall whose simplicity and scale still impress. Here, teams tackle clever puzzles and gather hidden hints that push the chase forward. Navigating these challenges calls for coordination and quick thinking, turning an ordinary company outing into a true team building experience as everyone’s strengths come into play.
Working together toward victory
This team building event is more than a scenic stroll; it is an interactive exercise in communication and collaboration. Along the way, participants will pass the Cathedral of Trier and the Roman Bridge, learn snippets of local history at the Karl-Marx-House museum, and contemplate ancient engineering at the Roman amphitheatre of Trier. Each stop reinforces the value of listening, planning and acting together.
A tasty interlude
No team building experience in Trier is complete without a well-timed refreshments break. Sample regional favourites like Viez, the local apple wine, or enjoy a hearty plate from a nearby eatery. These pauses provide a chance to regroup, celebrate interim victories and recharge for the next leg of the hunt.

The CityHunters treasure hunt in Trier blends history, adventure and cooperative problem-solving, offering a fresh perspective on the city and a lasting boost to team morale. Whether arranged as a company outing, a department celebration or a company christmas party, this format creates memorable moments that bring colleagues closer with every solved clue.
