Murder Mystery Tour Passau
A mysterious crime rattles the picturesque city of Passau, and teams have the rare chance to become sleuths and unmask the culprit. The CityHunters Murder Mystery Tour in Passau delivers an unforgettable mix of puzzles, intrigue and twists that keeps colleagues engaged from start to finish. This interactive Scavenger Hunt blends adventure, logic and teamwork in a modern way — ideal for a company outing, a department celebration or an outdoor team building experience.
Your investigative journey begins
The CityHunters App turns every smartphone into a powerful investigative tool. After a brief introduction, teams can set off whenever and wherever they like, whether close to the Town hall of Passau or another preferred starting point. That freedom makes the Murder Mystery Tour especially appealing to organisations seeking independent, low-fuss yet high-quality team building events. It also offers a fresh way to discover Passau.
On the trail through the city, participants will face clever puzzles, coded messages and interactive tasks that only get solved through cooperation. Each clue cracked brings the team closer to the perpetrator until all threads come together in a satisfying reveal.
A citywide adventure
The CityHunters Murder Mystery Tour is much more than an ordinary Scavenger Hunt. The app guides teams from station to station while delivering multimedia content such as photos, videos and virtual witness interviews. Smartphones become compact investigation centres where evidence is examined, suspects are profiled and group theories take shape.
Passau, with its striking architecture and winding streets, provides the perfect stage for this team building experience. Explore the imposing Veste Oberhaus, admire the grandeur of St. Stephan's Cathedral, drop by the Museum of Modern Art or discover the Glass Museum. Each location — from Kloster Niedernburg to the Abbey of St. Nikola — contributes its own character and deepens the atmosphere of the Murder Mystery Tour.
Teamwork and collaboration
Solving the case hinges on teamwork: clear communication, analytical thinking and an eye for detail are essential. Strategists, creative thinkers and keen observers all have roles to play. The playful format fosters a sustainable team building experience that strengthens cooperation while delivering genuine enjoyment and tangible benefits.
Passau’s culinary scene offers plenty of options to round off the day. After the investigation, teams can relax with a hearty snack in a traditional tavern or savour regional specialties, making the outing an excellent complement to a company summer party or a company christmas party.
Flexibility and freedom
A major advantage of this format is control: teams choose when and how the team building event takes place. The tour is playable at any time and requires no external supervision or fixed start times. That flexibility makes the Murder Mystery Tour easy to slot into any schedule — as a standalone company outing, part of a conference, the programme for a department celebration or the kick-off for a day of team building experience.
Organisation is refreshingly simple: after downloading the CityHunters App and activating the game code, teams can begin at once. No lengthy preparation or extra logistics — just a smooth, flexible experience that lets everyone focus on the hunt and the shared adventure.
