Treasure Hunt Oldenburg
An adventure awaits the team in the charming city of Oldenburg with the CityHunters treasure hunt — a team building experience set against the city’s historic backdrop where colleagues tackle clever puzzles and uncover hidden treasures, all while forging lasting memories.
Unique experiences in the old town
The journey kicks off at Markt 17, the lively heart of Oldenburg, and leads through the picture-perfect streets and alleys of the old town. The treasure hunt can also be launched from another central meeting point if preferred. Along the route participants will encounter landmarks such as Oldenburg Castle and St Lamberti Church, both offering memorable settings for clues and discoveries.
A city full of history and secrets
Oldenburg brims with history and tucked-away stories waiting to be revealed. The CityHunters treasure hunt guides teams to corners of the city they might never have noticed before, turning the familiar into the fascinating. As puzzles are solved, teams learn about the city’s cultural gems, from the Prinzenpalais and the Oldenburgisches Staatstheater to the Augusteum and the Elisabeth-Anna-Palais, each stop adding depth to the experience.
Teamwork in focus
The treasure hunt is more than entertainment — it’s a challenge that demands communication and collaboration. Every team member contributes strengths to crack the riddles and reach the prize. Whether planned as a company outing or a department celebration, this team building experience boosts cohesion and builds trust with every clue solved, all while keeping spirits high.
Freedom and flexibility for your event
A major perk of the CityHunters treasure hunt is its flexibility: it can be started at any time and even run without on-site supervision, letting organizers shape the day as they like. Whether featured as the highlight of a company summer party or staged as a stand-alone team building event, the route can be tailored to include stops like the Horst Janssen Museum, St. Peter, or the Oldenburg Computer Museum to match interests and timing.
