Treasure Hunt Nijmegen
An unusual adventure awaits teams winding through the picturesque streets of Nijmegen. The CityHunters treasure hunt hands over the CityHunters app and a map of curiosity, inviting groups to uncover secrets, sharpen teamwork and collect memories — all while experiencing Nijmegen in a way that feels fresh even to frequent visitors.
Unique experiences in the heart of Nijmegen
Kick off the treasure hunt at Nijmegen Town Hall or another convenient central spot, then set off through a city rich with history and character. Along the route teams will encounter St Steven's Church with its watchful tower, the elegant Concertgebouw de Vereeniging, the reflective Titus Brandsma Memorial and the lively Grote Markt. Cultural stops such as Lindenberg Nijmegen Culture House and the historic De Bastei add variety to the trail, and statuary like the Leeuw, the Statue of Ferdinand Hamer and the Standbeeld van Petrus Canisius provide picture-perfect pauses between clues.
Teamwork meets a sense of adventure
The treasure hunt is more than a timed game — it is an interactive challenge that rewards collaboration and creative thinking. Participants contribute different strengths: some excel at spotting hidden hints near a monument, others piece together logic puzzles beside St Steven's Church or the Lindenberg. That combination of skills turns each solved riddle into a small victory and makes the Grote Markt feel like the team’s own cheering section.
The perfect backdrop for a company outing
Nijmegen’s blend of tradition and modern flair creates an ideal setting for a company outing. Whether the event is part of a department celebration, a company summer party or paired with a conference, the treasure hunt turns the city’s streets into an interactive stage for team building. Teams stroll cobblestone lanes, unearth local stories and strengthen bonds while enjoying the atmosphere that only Nijmegen can provide.
Flexibility and freedom for your team building event
One clear advantage of the CityHunters treasure hunt is its flexibility: start whenever it suits the group, move at a comfortable pace and tailor the experience to the day’s agenda. That makes the activity a low-fuss option for companies seeking an engaging team building experience without complicated logistics — perfect as a standalone company outing or as a lively complement to a meeting.
An adventure that connects
The CityHunters treasure hunt in Nijmegen is designed to create shared stories and lasting camaraderie. Teams will collaborate to decode clues, admire landmarks like De Bastei and the Concertgebouw and ultimately discover the hidden treasure. The result is not only improved teamwork but also plenty of conversation material long after the day ends. Let Nijmegen’s charm do the rest and turn an ordinary outing into a memorable team building experience.
