Treasure Hunt Leiden
An unforgettable adventure awaits a team in the charming city of Leiden. This unique blend of excitement, history and cooperation invites colleagues to see one another in a fresh light. With the CityHunters team building experience and the CityHunters app in hand, teams set off on a treasure hunt that makes the city itself feel like a teammate. It is an ideal way to add spark to a company outing, elevate an department celebration or create a memorable company summer party.
Start point: The impressive Pieterskerk
The journey begins at the striking Pieterskerk, a landmark whose soaring presence sets an atmospheric tone. From here the treasure hunt weaves through Leiden’s streets and canals, turning familiar corners into puzzle pieces. The Pieterskerk’s long history and commanding architecture make it a natural launchpad for any team building event, and the route can be adjusted to start elsewhere in the city center if a custom itinerary is preferred.
Discovery tour through historic treasures
Along the route, teams will pass some of Leiden’s most intriguing sites, including the Hooglandse Kerk with its Gothic grandeur and the hilltop Burcht van Leiden, offering sweeping views over the city. Cultural stops might include Museum Boerhaave and the Naturalis Biodiversity Center, each adding layers of story and atmosphere to the treasure hunt. These locations supply both scenic backdrops and clever clues that encourage curiosity and collaboration.
Teamwork in the heart of Leiden
The CityHunters team building experience is more than a treasure hunt; it is an opportunity to reveal strengths within the group and sharpen cooperation. While some participants tackle brainteasers, others will spot hidden hints or propose creative approaches to problems. This team building event calls for courage, logic and, above all, teamwork, helping to improve communication and bonding as challenges are overcome together.
Flexibility and freedom for your team building event
A major advantage of the CityHunters format is its flexibility. Teams can begin the treasure hunt whenever it suits them and proceed at a comfortable pace, which makes the activity especially suitable for groups seeking a low-fuss, adaptable experience. Whether used as a highlight during a company summer party, as a standalone team building event, or as part of a broader company outing in Leiden, the treasure hunt fits a variety of needs.
The CityHunters treasure hunt is designed to leave a lasting impression, turning a regular outing into a shared story. Leiden’s rich cultural scene, from Museum De Lakenhal to the Rijksmuseum van Oudheden, provides an atmospheric stage for discovery and delight. As teams follow the trail, solve riddles and uncover the city’s secrets, the exercise strengthens camaraderie and ensures that an ordinary department celebration or company outing becomes something special.
