Discover the supporting program in Leeuwarden

A supporting program in Leeuwarden benefits from the citys historical diversity. During a walk through the old town, teams encounter the striking Oldehove, the leaning tower of Leeuwarden that has shaped the cityscape since the 16th century. No building needs to be entered to be impressed; spectacular photo motifs, unusual perspectives and urban challenges arise simply from viewing and circling these sights. Other highlights include the Princessehof Ceramics Museum, whose impressive exteriors and garden areas provide atmospheric puzzle locations, as well as the Fries Museum and the former prison complex Blokhuispoort, which tell stories of Leeuwardens eventful history. A supporting program in Leeuwarden uses these places as a launchpad for missions where team spirit, communication and strategic thinking count. Especially for groups looking for a compact but intense team building experience in Leeuwarden, the city is ideal: short distances, visible orientation points and a dense sequence of cultural spots allow for many tasks in a short time. CityHunters combines different formats so that every group gets exactly the level of excitement and competition that suits the occasion.

CityHunters formats Smart Tours, Geocaching tours and iPad tours

CityHunters event concepts are varied and practical for your supporting program in Leeuwarden. Smart Tours combine classic Scavenger Hunt elements with clever digital tools so that teams solve tasks, collect clues and chase points without long briefings. Geocaching tours use GPS-oriented Scavenger Hunt techniques and fit particularly well into Leeuwardens canal landscapes and hidden corners: teams search for caches, crack codes and experience the city with an explorers eye. iPad tours offer interactive maps, multimedia tasks and immediate scoring, ideal for groups that value playful interaction with digital support. About a quarter of our offerings are designed to combine technical tools with real city experience, so every challenge demands both thinking and team coordination. Whether Smart Tours, Geocaching tours or iPad tours, all formats are designed to make participants strengths visible: leadership, creativity, problem solving and speed. This mix makes the supporting program in Leeuwarden varied and ensures that every group — large or small — has an intensive experience that works convincingly as a team building experience in Leeuwarden.

Supporting program in Leeuwarden for every group

A supporting program in Leeuwarden is suitable for companies, departments and project teams alike. The different formats allow adaptation to group size and desired intensity without having to alter content: from calm discovery tours to fast-paced competitions. Leeuwarden is particularly well suited to half-day or full-day events because of its compact structure, as distances between sights are short and always provide natural meeting points for interim results and team briefings. In team building experiences in Leeuwarden, winning is not the only focus, but the shared experience: the combination of city history, playful tasks and small anecdotes ensures that teams start conversations and gain new perspectives on one another. For a team building event in Leeuwarden this means high participation, lots of laughter and lasting memories that extend beyond the event. CityHunters accompanies you with experienced facilitators and a clearly structured process that combines excitement and safety.

Experience well-known landmarks

A successful supporting program in Leeuwarden includes visible, recognizable places that every participant immediately associates with the city. The Oldehove impresses with its tilt and invites tricky tasks around perspective and perception. The Princessehof Ceramics Museum provides a historic atmosphere that is perfect for creative photo tasks or historical quizzes. The Fries Museum tells regional stories that are ideal for puzzles and storytelling stations without requiring entry. The Blokhuispoort as a former prison offers an extraordinary backdrop for scenarios and team tasks, providing atmosphere without mandatory tours. These places are landmarks that give your supporting program in Leeuwarden depth and identity, spark conversation and provide attractive pause points where results can be exchanged and impressions shared. Precisely because the sights are outdoors and easily accessible, the flow remains dynamic and all participants stay in the middle of the action.

Cuisine and anecdotes

A supporting program in Leeuwarden also thrives on small culinary discoveries and local stories. After an intensive stroll through the city, local specialties like sûkerbôle, the traditional Frisian sugar bread, taste particularly good. Also try local licorice varieties and pastries offered in the cafes along the pedestrian zone. A popular anecdote told on many tours is the origin of the famous spy Mata Hari, who came from Leeuwarden and remains part of local myth to this day. Such stories bring a team building experience in Leeuwarden to life and give participants topics of conversation beyond the tasks. CityHunters integrates these anecdotes into the tasks so that culinary breaks and historical tidbits are organically embedded in the experience. So anyone looking for a team building event in Leeuwarden will find not only games and competition but also flavor and storytelling that round off the shared experience and create lasting memories.
