Your investigation journey begins in the heart of Itzehoe
The adventure sets off at the historic Itzehoe Monastery, a place rich in atmosphere and history. If desired, the group can choose another central meeting point and set out from there. This flexible team building experience lets organisers tailor the route to their needs. Armed with the CityHunters app, which turns a smartphone into a multi-purpose investigation tool, teams navigate Itzehoe’s streets and alleys with confidence.
Along the way, participants will pass several of Itzehoe’s notable sights. The striking St. Laurentii provides a dramatic backdrop for clue hunting, while the Wenzel-Hablik-Museum adds an artistic detour to the investigation. The Prinzesshof and the evocative Nagelsche Fachwerkhäuser showcase the town’s architectural heritage, and further stops could include the Theater Itzehoe or the Germanengrab, each adding local flavor to the challenge.

The Murder Mystery Tour is more than a city discovery; it prompts teams to think together, communicate clearly and act strategically. Every clue matters and each choice nudges the group closer to solving the puzzle. Collaborating on riddles and piecing together evidence highlights individual strengths and reinforces team cohesion, making this activity valuable both as part of a department celebration and as a standalone team building experience.
While moving through the town, teams can also sample Itzehoe’s culinary offerings. Stopping at a cosy café or restaurant provides a welcome break to refuel and enjoy regional dishes, turning the event into a well-rounded outing that combines mental exercise with local tastes.
