Treasure Hunt Groningen
An unforgettable adventure awaits you and your team in lively Groningen! The CityHunters treasure hunt turns a company outing to Groningen into a fresh, exciting way to get to know the city. Armed with the CityHunters app and a healthy dose of curiosity, participants plunge into a world of riddles and hidden secrets, becoming modern explorers on a treasure hunt that also serves as a team building experience.
The journey begins in the heart of Groningen
The adventure typically sets off from the City hall, though the route can start anywhere in the city center on request. As the group threads through Groningen’s streets and squares, encounters with landmarks such as the Groninger Museum, the towering Martinitoren and the graceful Martinikerk add character to every clue. Stops might include the atmospheric Der Aa-kerk, the lively Forum Groningen and even the striking St. Joseph Cathedral, turning navigation into a cultural discovery.
An interactive team building event full of challenges
This treasure hunt is far from a casual walk; it behaves like a Scavenger Hunt-style team building event that tests creativity and cooperation. With the app in hand, teams decipher puzzles, uncover concealed hints and crack coded messages. Every solved challenge brings the group another step closer to the final prize, while also sharpening communication and collaboration in a playful, goal-oriented way.
Groningen — the perfect backdrop for your team building event
Groningen’s mix of historic charm and contemporary buzz provides an ideal backdrop for a department celebration or a company summer party. Between clues there’s time to pause at a cosy café for a famous stroopwafel or to soak up the atmosphere around the Nieuwe Kerk or the Synagogue. The flexible format of the CityHunters treasure hunt allows the pace and emphasis to be tailored to the group, making it just as suitable for a relaxed company outing as for a competitive Scavenger Hunt.
Teamwork that connects
The treasure hunt encourages team members to deploy different strengths — logical thinking, observation and creative problem solving — while others spot the subtle hints tucked into the cityscape. This team building experience fosters closer communication and mutual reliance, turning each small victory into a shared boost of morale and cohesion as the team advances toward the final reveal.
A company outing to remember
A company outing to Groningen with the CityHunters treasure hunt is more than an event; it’s a memorable experience that bonds colleagues and creates stories to tell long after the day ends. Discover hidden corners of the city, enjoy engaging challenges and strengthen relationships in a lively, modern format. Make the next department gathering, company summer party or even a company christmas party an occasion that your team will remember and talk about for years.
