Scavenger Hunt Ghent
Discover Ghent in a fresh and thrilling way with the CityHunters Scavenger Hunt, an interactive experience that doubles as a memorable team building experience. Picture colleagues navigating cobbled streets, cracking clever puzzles, and uncovering the citys hidden corners — all while sharpening communication and collaboration. This Scavenger Hunt turns sightseeing into a purposeful exercise in teamwork without ever feeling like work.
Start point: The Heart of Ghent
The adventure kicks off at Ghent City Hall, an architectural showcase that tells the story of the citys past and prosperity. From this historic starting line, teams set out on a journey through time, heading toward sights such as the Belfry of Ghent and Saint Nicholas' Church, as well as cultural stops like the Design Museum Gent and Huis van Alijn. Each station offers visual delight and chances for colleagues to connect and grow stronger as a unit, making the setting ideal for a team building event that is both informative and entertaining.
An adventure through Ghent's history
Along the route, participants will encounter Gravensteen, the imposing medieval castle that once embodied the power of the counts of Flanders. This fortress, alongside the cheeky presence of Dulle Griet, brings history to life and provides a dramatic backdrop for challenges that demand coordination and quick thinking. A visit to these landmarks is a standout moment that elevates the team building experience into something genuinely memorable.
Puzzles and challenges in the heart of the city
The Scavenger Hunt also leads teams to the magnificent Saint Bavo Cathedral, home to the famous Ghent Altarpiece and a setting rich with art and atmosphere. Here, teams face tasks designed to test creativity and logical reasoning, with every solved riddle strengthening group dynamics. The collaborative problem solving practiced during the Scavenger Hunt strengthens bonds and ensures the team building event leaves a lasting impression.
A feast for the senses
No Scavenger Hunt in Ghent would be complete without sampling local flavors. Take a well-timed pause for Belgian waffles or a bowl of traditional Gentse Waterzooi, perhaps near Our-Lady Ter Hooyen or along the canals by the Design Museum Gent. These culinary stops turn a company outing into a feast for the senses and give teams a tasty boost before the next round of discoveries.
An unforgettable experience for your team
After a day of exploration and achievement, the Scavenger Hunt concludes with a satisfying sense of accomplishment. Teams will leave having explored Ghent in depth and having strengthened their ability to work together. The positive momentum from this team building event extends far beyond the day itself, making it an excellent choice for the next company outing, a department celebration, a company summer party, or even a company christmas party.
