Treasure Hunt Freital
An exciting adventure awaits in the heart of Freital! At the CityHunters team building experience, colleagues transform into modern treasure hunters. Armed with the smart CityHunters app and a healthy dose of teamwork, groups set off to uncover a fabled prize tucked away among the streets of this charming town. This interactive treasure hunt is more than a run-of-the-mill team building event — it blends local history, brain-teasing puzzles and collaboration, making it ideal for a company outing, a department celebration or a memorable company summer party.
An adventure in Freital awaits
The journey typically kicks off at Rathaus Deuben, a fitting launch point for the treasure hunt, though teams are free to begin elsewhere in the town center if they prefer. With the CityHunters app as compass, participants navigate alleys and boulevards, crack clever clues and stumble upon noteworthy spots. Highlights along the route might include the dramatic Alter Tiefer Fürstenstolln, a relic of the region’s mining past, or the industrial charm of Papierfabrik Hainsberg. Scenic detours such as the Deubener Weißeritzmühlgraben add atmosphere while teams decipher hidden messages and piece together hints.
See Freital from a new angle
This team building event is no ordinary guided walk. It’s an interactive Scavenger Hunt that steers teams through the city while encouraging cooperation to locate the treasure. The bustling Neumarkt serves as a lively waypoint, brimming with local color and perfect for a quick strategy huddle. Along the way, architectural and historical gems such as St. Joachim and the Lutherkirche in Döhlen bei Dresden lend context and character, presented in bite-sized stories by the app. Freital’s mix of landmarks provides an ideal stage for a team building experience that strengthens communication and camaraderie in a playful, engaging way.
Teamwork takes center stage
Finding the treasure is more than luck; it demands coordination, creativity and tactical thinking. Every team member contributes — whether solving riddles, spotting subtle clues or connecting scattered pieces of information. As teams progress, collaborative skills are put to the test at places like the Windbergschacht, Augustusschacht and Wilhelminenschacht, each offering a glimpse into the town’s mining heritage and new puzzle opportunities. With every solution the group grows more cohesive, and each step brings them closer to the hidden reward.
Flexibility and freedom
One of the strong points of the CityHunters team building experience in Freital is its flexibility. The treasure hunt can be played anytime and without on-site supervision, allowing teams to set their own pace. That freedom makes the format perfect for organizations seeking a low-fuss, adaptable activity. Whether used as entertainment during a company summer party, as a standalone team building event or as an engaging add-on to a conference, this treasure hunt delivers excitement and lasting memories.
