The CityHunters app turns every smartphone into a mission device, dispensing clues, coordinates and just the right amount of intrigue. From there, teams set off across the city to tackle clever puzzles and complete tasks. Flexibility is key, since the team building event can be launched any time and from almost anywhere in the town center.

During the route, participants pass several of Achim’s notable landmarks. St.-Laurentius presents a striking backdrop with its timeless architecture, perfect for a dramatic clue reveal. The Achim windmill adds a historic twist to the route, where heritage and puzzle-solving meet. St. Matthias lends another picturesque stop, and the Zigarrenmacherdenkmal offers a nod to the town’s industrial traditions. Each site enriches the mission and keeps the experience visually and mentally engaging.

How the event works
1. Preparation
- Beforehand, all participants install the app on their smartphones
- Teams are formed in advance or on site (max. 7 people)
- Each team’s leader starts the tour and invites the other participants
2. Let’s go!
- From tour start, our team guide is available via chat
- Teams choose their first puzzle location
- They navigate easily via the map view
- Up to 10 challenges await at notable spots around the city
3. City exploration
- Along the route, teams discover the city
- At each puzzle location, they solve tasks and earn points
- Each team member receives individual challenges in addition to the shared tasks
- Digital networking via real-time leaderboard and team chat
4. Finale
- After completing all tasks, the app guides teams safely back to the start
- A self-organized award ceremony can take place here
- Afterwards, you’ll find all photos in a protected online gallery

We organize our team events for you on your desired date, 365 days a year. To see if your preferred date is still available, request your non-binding offer . You can freely choose your event start time between 9 am and 8 pm.
For our full-service team events, both on-site support by our guides and the provision of all materials are included, so you don’t have to worry about anything in advance. The only exception is our smartphone tours. For these, you use your own smartphones and benefit from in-app chat support that we provide free of charge.
The start and end point in Achim is: Am Marktplatz 1. Click for a map view. The blue-shaded area marks our event area where our team event tasks and puzzles are located. For our Geocaching and iPad tours, you can choose your own start and end points within this area. This is not possible for smartphone tours.
