Team Building Event Intuitive Surgical Optics GmbH
Geocaching in Mannheim is an event concept that perfectly combines fun, adventure, and team spirit. On October 15, 2026, I had the pleasure of guiding a group of 17 employees from Intuitive Surgical Optics GmbH through Mannheim as a CityHunters team guide. We started at the lively Willy-Brandt-Platz, an ideal spot to kick off our team building experience in Mannheim.
After a brief introduction, the participants were divided into three teams. Equipped with tablets, they set off to discover the city's secrets and collect valuable points. The teams explored the city on their own, while I was available by phone to assist with any questions or issues. The participants had the chance to visit landmarks such as the impressive Mannheim Palace, the Kunsthalle Mannheim, and the Yavuz-Sultan-Selim Mosque, all while solving tricky puzzles and tackling exciting team tasks.
The atmosphere was full of energy and enthusiasm from the start. The teams worked together to find creative solutions and overcome challenges. This team building experience in Mannheim not only offered a completely new way to experience the city but also strengthened the bonds and collaboration within the teams. After 1.5 hours of fun and discovery, the teams returned to Willy-Brandt-Platz to celebrate the awards ceremony.
The winning team, '12 Shoes,' scored an impressive 152 points, securing first place. Close behind was team 'Katze' with 151 points, while team 'PDP' took third place with 75 points. The excitement during the awards ceremony was palpable, and the joy over the achievements was immense.
Geocaching in Mannheim is an unforgettable experience that perfectly combines fun and team building. It was a joy to accompany Intuitive Surgical Optics GmbH on this adventure and see the teams exceed their limits.
