Team Building Event GK Software SE
October 7, 2026, was a perfect day for an exciting Geocaching adventure in Plauen. Under bright sunshine and ideal temperatures, 33 enthusiastic participants from GK Software SE gathered at the Altmarkt to embark on an unforgettable team building experience.
After a warm welcome and a brief introduction by me, their CityHunters team guide, the participants were divided into five teams. Equipped with tablets and full of anticipation, the teams set off to discover the hidden treasures of Plauen. The city provided the perfect backdrop for our Geocaching adventure, and participants had the opportunity to explore fascinating landmarks like the Johanniskirche and the Alte Elsterbrücke.
During the three-hour tour, the teams were on their own, competing for the highest score. The tasks and puzzles required not only brainpower but also teamwork and creativity. It was impressive to see how the participants collaborated to overcome challenges and uncover the city's secrets. I was available by phone for any questions or issues, but the teams completed the tour with flying colors.
After three hours of fun and discoveries, all teams gathered back at the Altmarkt for the eagerly awaited award ceremony. Team 'Odzilla' secured first place with an impressive 435 points. Close behind was team 'Vier ist hier' with 425 points, followed by the 'POS Hunters' with 410 points. The joy and pride of the teams were palpable, marking a wonderful conclusion to this successful team building event in Plauen.
Geocaching in Plauen once again demonstrated how much fun it is to explore new paths together while strengthening team dynamics. Participants went home with many positive impressions and a reinforced team spirit. Plauen, with its charming atmosphere and cultural treasures like the Vogtlandmuseum, provided the perfect stage for this unforgettable team adventure.
