On September 26, 2026, 47 dedicated employees from the municipal association of the district's communities had the pleasure of participating in an exciting Geocaching event in Lübeck. The day began at the MUK, where the participants were warmly welcomed by their CityHunters team guide. After a brief introduction and division into nine teams, the adventure in the picturesque city of Lübeck began.
With a tablet in hand and full of anticipation, the teams set out to discover Lübeck's hidden treasures. The participants navigated through the charming streets and alleys, past impressive landmarks like the iconic Holstentor and the majestic St. Mary's Church. Each stop offered not only exciting puzzles and team tasks but also fascinating insights into the city's history and secrets.
The Geocaching in Lübeck not only brought the participants closer to the city but also fostered team spirit. The teams worked together to solve tricky puzzles and find creative solutions. The competition for the most points added extra motivation and excitement. Throughout the tour, the team guide was available by phone to assist with any questions or issues.
After two hours filled with fun and challenges, all teams gathered again at the MUK for the eagerly awaited award ceremony. The team 'SV Mülltüten' secured first place with an impressive 195 points, closely followed by 'Sunshine Girl' with 165 points and 'The Winners' with 135 points. The joy and pride in their achievements were palpable.
The perfect weather further contributed to the positive atmosphere, making the Geocaching in Lübeck an unforgettable experience for all involved. This unique combination of adventure, team building, and exploration of a fascinating city will remain in the participants' memories for a long time.
