Team Building Event VR Bank in Thüringen eG
Geocaching in Heilbad Heiligenstadt is an event concept that uniquely combines fun, adventure, and team spirit. On September 25, 2026, I had the pleasure of leading a Geocaching experience for 25 motivated employees of VR Bank in Thüringen eG as a CityHunters team guide. Our adventure kicked off at In der Leineaue, and the participants were divided into five teams to explore the city.
The teams were full of energy and ready to take on the challenge. Equipped with a tablet and the CityHunters app, they set out through the charming city of Heilbad Heiligenstadt. On their tour, they not only discovered the city's hidden treasures but also impressive sights like the majestic St. Martin Church and the fascinating Theodor Storm Literature Museum. These locations offered not only visual highlights but also exciting puzzles and team tasks to solve.
Throughout the tour, the teams were on their own, but I was available by phone to help with any questions or issues. It was inspiring to see the participants work together to find creative solutions and overcome the challenges. This team building experience in Heilbad Heiligenstadt not only fostered team spirit but also highlighted the individual strengths of each participant.
After two hours of fun and excitement, all teams gathered back at the starting point for the awards ceremony. The team 'Flotten Bienen' claimed the first place with an impressive 240 points. Close behind were the teams 'High 5' and 'Die Gewinner', who shared the second place with 225 points each. All participants received personalized certificates as a memento of this unforgettable day.
Geocaching in Heilbad Heiligenstadt is not only an entertaining way to discover the city but also an effective team building event. The perfect mix of culture, history, and teamwork makes it an unforgettable adventure for any team. Heilbad Heiligenstadt impressed us with its unique atmosphere and diverse challenges, and I am already looking forward to the next event in this wonderful city!
