Team Building Event Kita Feldbrunnenstraße
Geocaching in Hamburg – a perfect blend of fun, adventure, and team building. On September 25, 2026, I had the pleasure of leading an exciting Geocaching event for the company Kita Feldbrunnenstraße as a CityHunters team guide. Twelve enthusiastic participants gathered at the back of St. Peter's Church, ready to discover Hamburg in a whole new way.
After a brief introduction and dividing into three teams – the 'Blue Ravens,' the 'Power Rangers,' and the 'Tiger Eyes' – we embarked on our adventure. Equipped with tablets and the CityHunters app, the teams set out to find the city's hidden treasures. Their route led them to some of Hamburg's most famous landmarks, such as the impressive Elbphilharmonie and the historic Speicherstadt. The participants were challenged to solve tricky puzzles and complete creative team tasks to earn points.
The weather was perfect, which lifted everyone's spirits and motivated the participants even more. Throughout the tour, the teams engaged in friendly competition, with teamwork and communication taking center stage. I was always available by phone as the team guide to provide support in case of questions or issues, ensuring the teams could enjoy the challenge without losing any fun.
After 2.5 hours of discoveries and challenges, the teams returned to the back of St. Peter's Church for the eagerly awaited awards ceremony. With 290 points, the 'Blue Ravens' secured first place, followed by the 'Power Rangers' with 225 points and the 'Tiger Eyes' with 170 points.
This Geocaching event in Hamburg was not only an opportunity to explore the city in an interactive and entertaining way but also a valuable team building experience. The participants were able to strengthen their collaboration while enjoying the cultural highlights of the Hanseatic city. An unforgettable experience that has positively influenced the team dynamics in the long term.
