Team Building Event Abbott Laboratories
On September 22, 2026, I had the pleasure of leading an exciting Geocaching event for 24 enthusiastic employees from Abbott Laboratories in Mainz. We met at the lively Karmeliterplatz, where I warmly welcomed the participants. The group was divided into four teams, and the anticipation was palpable as the teams received their tablets and got acquainted with the CityHunters event.
Our Geocaching adventure in Mainz promised to be an unforgettable experience, focusing on fun, adventure, and team spirit. The teams set out to discover the hidden treasures of the city while enjoying the unique atmosphere of Mainz. The weather was perfect for exploring the city in all its glory, and the mood was cheerful.
During the tour, the route led the teams to some of Mainz's most impressive landmarks. From the majestic Mainz Cathedral to the fascinating stained glass windows of St. Stephan and the imposing Christ Church, exciting puzzles and team tasks awaited at every corner. Participants were challenged to use their creative and analytical skills and work together as a team to overcome the challenges.
After two hours filled with discoveries and challenges, all teams gathered again at Karmeliterplatz for the award ceremony. Tension rose as the points were tallied, and it was a joy to see participants sharing their experiences and successes. The Geocaching event in Mainz proved to be an excellent opportunity for team building, allowing everyone to contribute their individual strengths.
The Geocaching event in Mainz was not only a way to discover the city in a new and exciting way but also a chance to grow closer as a team. The participants from Abbott Laboratories experienced a day full of fun and collaboration that will be remembered for a long time.
