Budapest, the Pearl of the Danube, provided the perfect setting for an exciting Murder Mystery Geocaching event on September 11, 2026. Participants from Cosco Shipping Lines (Central Europe) gathered at the majestic Danubius Fountain to take on the role of detectives and discover the city from a new perspective.
With 50 participants divided into 10 teams, the adventure kicked off promptly at 2:30 PM. Equipped with tablets and a special app, the teams set off to solve tricky puzzles while exploring Budapest. Known for its stunning landmarks like the Parliament Building and the Chain Bridge, the city offered the perfect backdrop for this unique team building experience in Budapest.
The participants immersed themselves in a world full of puzzles and mysteries. As they roamed the streets of Budapest, they became investigators, collecting clues, analyzing evidence, and interviewing witnesses. The teams were on their own, but the team guide was always reachable by phone to provide assistance if needed.
After an exciting 2.5 hours of adventure and teamwork, all teams reconvened at the Danubius Fountain for the awards ceremony. The weather cooperated, creating a pleasant atmosphere that made the event a complete success. The joy and team spirit were palpable as the results were announced.
The team 'Cosco Shalalahs' triumphed with an impressive 225 points, securing first place. 'Fantastic 4' and 'Buenos Nachos' followed with 165 points each, taking second and third places. The top teams were awarded medals, further boosting the pride and enthusiasm of the participants.
