Team Building Event Caritasverband für den Rheinisch-Bergischen Kreis
On September 10, 2026, the weather was perfect in Bergisch Gladbach as 24 participants from the Caritas Association for the Rheinisch-Bergischer District gathered for an exciting Murder Mystery Geocaching adventure. The meeting point was the impressive St. Laurentius Church, an ideal starting point for our team building experience in Bergisch Gladbach.
After a warm welcome and introduction, the participants were divided into four teams. Equipped with tablets and a special app guiding them through the city, the thrilling scavenger hunt began. The teams roamed the streets of Bergisch Gladbach, passing landmarks like Villa Zanders and the city archive, always on the hunt for clues and solutions to the tricky puzzles.
During the 2.5-hour tour, the teams were on their own, but I, as their team guide, was always reachable by phone to assist with any issues. The participants delved deep into the world of crime cases, gathering clues and solving puzzles to make Bergisch Gladbach safe again. This blend of adventure and technology created an exciting atmosphere and strengthened team cohesion.
At the end of the tour, the teams returned to St. Laurentius Church, where the excitement peaked during the awards ceremony. The team 'Key Witnesses' triumphed with an impressive 315 points, deservedly earning the coveted medals. They were closely followed by the 'Evidence Experts' with 300 points and the 'Crime Scene' team, which secured third place with 299 points.
