Team Building Event Roche Diagnostics GmbH
A Geocaching event in Mainz offers the perfect mix of fun, adventure, and team spirit. On September 9, 2026, I had the pleasure of guiding 120 enthusiastic participants from Roche Diagnostics GmbH on an exciting discovery tour through Mainz as a CityHunters team guide. We met at the Rhein-Main Youth Hostel, full of anticipation, and divided the participants into 16 teams. Equipped with tablets and the CityHunters app, the adventure began.
The teams set off to discover the treasures of Mainz, exploring important landmarks like the impressive Mainz Cathedral or the historic Electoral Palace. With the sun shining brightly, the atmosphere was fantastic, and the teams were full of energy to tackle the challenges. The tasks were designed to require not just brainpower but also teamwork and creativity—perfect ingredients for a successful team building experience in Mainz.
During the tour, the teams were on their own, but I was available by phone in case of questions or problems. It was inspiring to see the participants working together to solve puzzles and collect points. Everyone contributed their individual strengths to the team's success, which strengthened the sense of community and promoted team spirit.
After three exciting hours, all teams returned to the youth hostel, where the excitement reached its peak during the awards ceremony. It was a close race, but eventually, one team claimed victory. The applause and joy were immense because ultimately, everyone was a winner—through the shared experiences and strengthened team cohesion.
This Geocaching event in Mainz was an unforgettable experience that not only provided a lot of fun but also offered the opportunity to discover the city from a whole new perspective. The combination of cultural highlights and interactive tasks made this team building event in Mainz a special occasion that will be remembered for a long time.
