On September 1, 2026, the moment finally arrived: 64 enthusiastic participants from CooperVision GmbH gathered at Luisenplatz in Darmstadt, ready for an unforgettable team building experience. Divided into 10 teams, the iPad Tour kicked off promptly at 5:30 PM. With smiles and eager anticipation, the teams were welcomed by me, their CityHunters team guide, and introduced to the secrets of the high-tech scavenger hunt.
The weather was perfect, and the atmosphere couldn't have been better. Armed with iPads and the CityHunters app, the teams set off to discover Darmstadt in a completely new way. During the tour, they navigated through the streets and squares of the city center, exploring both well-known landmarks and hidden corners of the city. The Russian Chapel and the Darmstadt Residence Castle were just a few of the highlights that participants could admire on their route.
The teams engaged in friendly competition, solving puzzles and tackling creative challenges. Team spirit, ingenuity, and a good dose of humor were essential. After 1.75 hours filled with fun and excitement, all teams returned to the starting point at Luisenplatz, where the festive award ceremony took place. The anticipation was palpable as the scores were announced. The winning team was awarded medals, and they received well-deserved applause from their colleagues.
