Team Building Event Bayernwerk Netz GmbH
On August 31, 2026, seven enthusiastic participants from Bayernwerk Netz GmbH gathered at the picturesque Burgplatz in Essen to embark on an exciting Geocaching adventure. As the CityHunters team guide, it was my job to divide the participants into two teams and send them on an unforgettable journey through the city. The teams, Yellow Umbrellas and Real Climate Warrior, were ready to take on the challenges and discover the hidden treasures of Essen.
Despite the unpredictable weather, which added a unique atmosphere to the day, the teams set off on their adventure with great enthusiasm. Equipped with tablets and the CityHunters app, they embarked on a discovery tour that led them to some of the city's most fascinating sights. From the impressive Essen Cathedral to the inspiring Museum Folkwang, the participants were captivated by Essen's diversity and history.
During the tour, it was up to the teams to solve puzzles and complete team tasks to collect valuable points. The competition for the most points sparked a playful ambition that strengthened team dynamics and spirit. The participants tackled the challenges with creativity and cohesion, making the team building experience in Essen a complete success.
After two and a half hours of intense puzzle-solving and exciting discoveries, the teams returned to Burgplatz, where the eagerly awaited award ceremony took place. The Yellow Umbrellas triumphed with an impressive 375 points, securing first place, while the Real Climate Warrior claimed second place with a respectable 285 points.
This Geocaching in Essen was more than just a competition—it was an opportunity to experience the beauty and uniqueness of the city while growing together as a team. The participants left the event with smiles on their faces and many unforgettable memories in their luggage. Team building in Essen once again proved that even a rainy day can be full of fun and adventure when spent with the right people.
