A bright blue sky and pleasant temperatures provided the perfect setting for our Murder Mystery Geocaching event in Offenburg. On July 1, 2026, 41 eager participants from the Evangelical Church in Karlsruhe / Administration gathered in front of the impressive Offenburg City Church, ready to step into the shoes of detectives. The anticipation and curiosity were almost palpable as I welcomed the group and divided them into seven teams.
Equipped with tablets and a special app, the teams set off to uncover the city's secrets. Offenburg, with its charming alleys and historic buildings, offered the perfect backdrop for this thrilling team building event. As participants passed by the Holy Cross Church and the Ritterhaus Museum, they were challenged not only by the architecture but also by the tricky puzzles they needed to solve.
The Murder Mystery Geocaching in Offenburg is more than just a game – it's an opportunity to discover the city from a new perspective while strengthening team spirit. The teams were on their own, but collaboration and communication were key to successfully completing the tasks. It was impressive to see how participants worked together to decipher clues and catch the culprits.
After three exciting hours, everyone gathered again at the Offenburg City Church for the awards ceremony. The atmosphere was filled with excitement and joy as the results were announced. With 365 points, team 'shadow' secured first place, closely followed by 'speedy gonzales' with 360 points and 'Sherlock Holmes' with 345 points. The pride and enthusiasm of the participants were evident – a testament to the success of this team building experience in Offenburg.
This Murder Mystery Geocaching event not only provided tons of fun but also strengthened collaboration and camaraderie within the group. Offenburg offered the ideal setting for an unforgettable team building event that will be remembered by all participants for a long time. We are already looking forward to the next adventure and stepping into the role of detectives once again!
