Team Building Event ERGO Deutschland AG
Geocaching in Hamburg offers a unique way to discover the city in a new, adventurous manner. On July 1, 2026, I had the pleasure of leading an exciting Geocaching event for ERGO Deutschland AG as a CityHunters team guide. The day started promisingly in front of the impressive Mövenpick Hotel Hamburg, where 14 motivated participants gathered to explore the city in two teams and showcase their teamwork skills.
After a brief introduction and dividing into the teams 'Meine Perle' and 'Nordstern', the participants, equipped with tablets, set off to find Hamburg's hidden treasures. The teams navigated through the city's streets, passing impressive landmarks like the Elbphilharmonie and the historic Speicherstadt. Along the way, they solved tricky puzzles and tackled creative team tasks that not only got their minds working but also encouraged collaboration.
The weather was perfect, and the participants' good spirits were contagious. Throughout the tour, I was available by phone to assist with any questions or issues, but the teams handled the challenges brilliantly with an impressive amount of team spirit. This type of team building experience in Hamburg is truly special, as it not only strengthens bonds but also allows you to experience the city from a completely new perspective.
After 2.5 hours filled with adventure and fun, the teams reconvened at the Mövenpick Hotel Hamburg for the award ceremony. The excitement was palpable as the points were tallied. In the end, team 'Meine Perle' narrowly edged out team 'Nordstern' with 210 points to 195 points. The cheers were loud, and the joy of a successful day was evident among all participants.
Geocaching in Hamburg is not only an exciting challenge but also an excellent way to explore the city interactively and entertainingly. The combination of adventure, teamwork, and discovering Hamburg's landmarks makes this event an unforgettable experience. I am already looking forward to the next team building event in Hamburg and accompanying more teams on their journey through the fascinating Hanseatic city!
