Team Building Event Die Mobiliar
Perfect autumn weather accompanied our iPad Tour through Salzburg and set a great mood from the very start.
As a CityHunters team guide I welcomed 17 participants from Die Mobiliar at the Furtwänglerpark on November 14, 2025 at 2:30 p.m. After a short briefing on how to use the iPads and the CityHunters app, the groups were split into three teams and the adventure began — exactly the kind of team building experience we love in Salzburg.
The iPad Tour combines modern technology with playful city exploration: the app connects the teams, shows scores in real time and offers interactive challenges along with a motivating live chat. Along the way the teams discovered landmarks like Hohensalzburg Fortress, Mirabell Palace and Salzburg Cathedral while solving puzzles and completing creative team tasks.
During the tour the teams were largely on their own and competed against each other in friendly rivalry. Points were awarded for correctly solved puzzles and successful tasks — and sometimes for the best team idea. I was reachable by phone to quickly assist with questions or technical issues so the fun never faded.
The atmosphere was filled with laughter, team spirit and surprising aha moments: exactly what makes a good team building experience in Salzburg. The mix of city history, culture and cutting-edge Scavenger Hunt technology helped colleagues get to know each other better and find solutions together.
After just under three hours all groups met again at the Furtwänglerpark for the joint award ceremony. The podium today: 1st place – Team Stritzgis with 315 points, 2nd place – The Green Hunters with 285 points and 3rd place – Die Gurkentruppe with 180 points. Congratulations to all participants for the fantastic effort!
Experiences like this show how valuable a team building experience in Salzburg can be: active, connecting and full of fun. I’m already looking forward to the next iPad Tour in this beautiful city and to new groups who want to discover Salzburg in a completely different way.
