Team Building Event Roche Diagnostics GmbH
The concept of our Geocaching event blends play, discovery and genuine team spirit — exactly what the 17 participants from Roche Diagnostics GmbH experienced at our evening event on 23 October 2025 in Mannheim.
As team guide I welcomed the group punctually at meeting point G1 in Mannheim. After a brief introduction I explained the procedure, handed out the tablets with the CityHunters app preinstalled and answered final questions. The participants were split into four teams and shortly after we set off: pure team building experience in Mannheim.
On the tour through the city center the teams mostly worked independently and competed against each other in friendly rivalry. Points were awarded for correctly solving puzzles and successfully completing team tasks. The challenges led to well-known corners and hidden spots of the city — stops around Mannheim Palace, the Kunsthalle Mannheim and the Jesuit Church provided many aha moments and plenty to talk about. I was available by phone throughout the tour in case questions or technical problems arose.
The weather was on the pleasant side — not perfect, but friendly enough to keep spirits high. The combination of city exploration, small challenges and shared strategy visibly brought fun and fostered togetherness: exactly what a team building experience in Mannheim is all about.
After about two and a half hours all teams met again at the starting point. The tension rose during the awards ceremony: first place went to team URCWildcards with 345 points and they received the gold medals. In second place came Checkavomnecka with 315 points, and third place went to Error404: 5 found with 300 points. The beaming winners and the sportsmanlike congratulations made the finale especially memorable.
As a guide it was rewarding to see how team dynamics developed and how much joy shared discovery brings. Anyone planning a team building experience in Mannheim soon should not miss this form of Geocaching — a playful, active and bonding way to experience the city anew.
