Team Building Event Apple
The 17 participants from Apple met on October 23, 2025 at 2:30 PM at Max-Joseph-Platz and, together with me as the CityHunters team guide, got ready for an energetic Geocaching experience. Split into three teams, the groups received a short introduction, the CityHunters app on a tablet and the key instructions for the event — then they set off into the streets of Old Town.
The autumn weather showed its dramatic side, but the fresh air and the clattering city atmosphere only added momentum. Rain and wind could not dampen spirits; if anything, the challenging tasks were tackled with even more gusto. Our route led the teams past famous sights such as the Frauenkirche, the Deutsches Museum and the New Town Hall, so alongside play and competition the most beautiful sides of the city were on display. The team building experience in Old Town thus took on a particularly lively character.
During the tour the three teams were on their own and competed in friendly rivalry. Points were awarded for correctly solving puzzles and for creative team tasks — movement, problem-solving and collaboration counted equally. I was reachable by phone the entire time in case any questions or technical issues arose, and I enjoyed the many successful solutions and the good mood within the groups. The team building experience in Old Town proved an ideal setting to strengthen collaboration in a practical and playful way.
After exactly three hours all teams met again at Max-Joseph-Platz for the award ceremony. The tension was high: in third place was Munchkinmunchen with 120 points, narrowly behind in second place OneTeam with 240 points. The victory and first place went to team Brawnsfeld with an impressive 300 points. The prizegiving was a joyful finale in which team spirit was celebrated and everyone exchanged their experiences.
It was an afternoon full of fun, surprises and genuine collaboration — exactly what a good team building experience in Old Town is all about.
