Team Building Event VIS Verkehrs Industrie Systeme GmbH
Thirty-four colleagues from VIS Verkehrs Industrie Systeme GmbH met in Halberstadt on October 23, 2025, at 10:00 AM for our Murder Mystery Geocaching, a team day that brought excitement, fun, and real camaraderie.
As the team guide I welcomed the group at the starting point on Augustenstraße and gave a brief overview of the schedule. After a short briefing the participants were split into four teams and handed tablets with an app that guided them through the tasks and cases. This is how our interactive team building experience in Halberstadt began: technology meets adventure, leading groups to exciting locations around the city.
During the tour the teams operated independently and competed against each other in friendly rivalry. Points were awarded for correctly solved puzzles and collaborative team tasks — creativity, communication, and speed each counted. I was available by phone throughout the game to answer questions and offer help when needed, but mostly I enjoyed watching how the teams played to their strengths.
The route took participants past well-known Halberstadt landmarks, including the impressive Halberstadt Cathedral, the iconic Gleimhaus, and the Liebfrauenkirche, which served as the backdrop for some tasks. These places became scenes for little detective stories and offered wonderful opportunities to see the city from a new perspective — exactly what makes our team building experience in Halberstadt so special.
The weather cooperated, the atmosphere was fantastic, and laughter could be heard often. Time and again team members combined ideas, encouraged each other, and celebrated solutions. The team building experience in Halberstadt proved that day to be the perfect mix of challenge, city exploration, and shared success.
After three hours all teams met back at the starting point on Augustenstraße for the awards ceremony. First place went to team Käfer with 225 points — congratulations. In second and third were Boss Team 1 and Cache me if you cant, each with 195 points. A close but fair result that reflected everyone’s commitment.
It was a thoroughly successful day full of energy and community. I am already looking forward to the next Murder Mystery Geocaching and more unforgettable moments during the team building experience in Halberstadt.
