Team Building Event BWI GmbH
The 14 participants from BWI GmbH met punctually at University Square, eager for three hours of puzzles, discoveries, and shared experiences.
As the CityHunters team guide I welcomed the group and briefly explained the plan: after a short introduction the teams received their tablets with the CityHunters app and prepared for the adventure. We split the group into three teams and set off at 2:00 pm — the perfect start for a real team building experience in Heidelberg.
The route led the teams across the city and revealed both well-known and hidden corners: from views of Heidelberg Castle and the historic Church of the Holy Spirit to the Old Bridge and the University Library — Heidelberg showed its most atmospheric side. The light drizzle and autumnal mood added extra charm to the stops and made the shared experience even more intense.
During the tour the teams were on their own, engaged in a friendly neck-and-neck race. Points were awarded for correctly solving puzzles and for creative team tasks that called for communication and problem-solving. I stayed reachable by phone so that minor questions could be answered immediately without breaking the flow.
After exactly three hours everyone met back at University Square for the prize ceremony. It was great to see how team spirit, fun and competitive drive translated into tangible success. Victory went to team Pathfinder with an impressive 375 points. In second place came Heidelbären with 345 points, followed by Das Team in third with 345 points as well — a nice sign of how close and exciting this team building experience in Heidelberg was.
