Team Building Event Caritas Sozialstation und Tagespflege
The weather was perfect, with clear skies and a sunny atmosphere accompanying our tour through Regensburg.
On 18 October 2025 at 9:30 AM, ten participants from the Caritas home care and day care services met me at Kohlenmarkt, the meeting point for our Geocaching event. After a brief welcome and introduction we split into three teams. I explained the procedure, handed out the tablets with the preinstalled CityHunters app and showed how the tasks were solved. That is how our active team building experience in Regensburg began, full of anticipation.
Then we set off: the teams worked independently, explored the old town and searched for clues, solved riddles and completed team challenges. The coordinates and tasks repeatedly led them to famous spots such as Regensburg Cathedral, the Stone Bridge and the Old Town Hall. Between historic facades and hidden corners many little aha moments appeared — exactly what a good team building experience in Regensburg is all about.
Throughout the two-hour tour I was available by phone in case questions came up or technical help was needed. The participants used their individual strengths, combined creativity and sharp thinking, and clearly had fun doing it. The competitive element motivated every team to think quickly and work together efficiently.
After two hours everyone met back at Kohlenmarkt for the awards ceremony. There was excitement in the air — teamwork and the right strategies paid off: the winning team Die Besten took first place with 90 points, and in second place was Team Drittere with 75 points. Faces showed pride, joy and the good feeling of having achieved something together.
Geocaching combines city exploration with challenge and strengthens cohesion — that is exactly what our team building experience in Regensburg offers. It was a lovely morning where culture, puzzle fun and team spirit came together. I am already looking forward to the next team building event and to guiding more groups through the charming lanes of Regensburg.
