What a glorious day we picked — perfect weather for our Geocaching adventure in Old Town!
As the CityHunters team guide I welcomed a lively group of 16 colleagues from hasenkamp Relocation Services GmbH at the meeting point on Sophienstraße on 11.10.2025 at 10:15. After a brief introduction and the distribution of our CityHunters tablets, the group set off into Old Town in three teams, full of anticipation. A team building experience in Old Town was the focus from the very beginning — fun, communication and shared achievements were the goal.
With the app as their companion the teams navigated to both well-known and hidden spots around the city. Stops like the Frauenkirche, the Deutsches Museum and the New Town Hall provided the backdrop for tricky puzzles and varied team tasks. The participants were on their own during the tour and competed in a friendly rivalry for the most points. Points were earned by correctly solving puzzles and by creative collaboration on team challenges — exactly the kinds of situations that strengthen togetherness and lead to real aha moments.
I stayed reachable by phone throughout the tour in case a team needed support or had technical questions. In most cases, however, the groups’ own collaborative problem-solving was enough to overcome the tougher tasks. Time and again you could see energies merge: colleagues contributing in unexpected ways, teams laughing, combining ideas and thinking things through together. This is how a genuine team building experience in Old Town emerges — active, interactive and lasting.
After exactly three hours all groups met again at the starting point on Sophienstraße for a joint awards ceremony. The mood was celebratory, the winners were cheered, and everyone left with positive impressions: new conversation topics, strengthened team dynamics and many fond memories of Old Town. A team building experience in Old Town can be so simple and effective — a perfect combination of city exploration, puzzle fun and team development.
