Team Building Event Amazon
Our event concept blends modern technology with playful exploration of the city, creating an entertaining way to strengthen team bonds.
On October 8, 2025 at 6:30 PM I had the pleasure of guiding an iPad Tour for 16 participants from Amazon in Old Town as a CityHunters team guide. The meeting point was Max-Joseph-Platz, where I warmly welcomed the group and gave a brief introduction to the iPads and the CityHunters app.
The group was split into four teams and set off after the briefing. Our iPad Tour combines history, culture and cutting-edge technology – teams discovered well-known sights like the Frauenkirche, the New Town Hall and areas around the Deutsches Museum in a playful way. At various stations interactive tasks and creative challenges awaited, demanding tactics, sharp observation and teamwork.
During the tour the teams were on their own, competing in a friendly race for the highest score. Points were awarded for correctly solved puzzles and successful team tasks. The CityHunters app displayed the live score and provided extra motivation – ideal conditions for a successful team building experience in Old Town.
As team guide I was available by phone in case any questions or technical issues arose. The atmosphere remained positive and focused, and the good weather added to the energy, so the teams tackled the tasks with great spirit. Moments like these foster exactly what matters in a team building experience in Old Town: getting to know one another, developing shared strategies and celebrating successes together.
After two hours everyone met back at Max-Joseph-Platz for the award ceremony. It was a joy to see colleagues chatting, laughing, sharing memories and reflecting on the experience. A small winner photo wrapped up the evening.
Such iPad Tours demonstrate how much fun a team building experience in Old Town can be – lively, interactive and lasting in their positive effect on team cohesion. I look forward to the next tours and to helping more teams discover the city in new ways.
