Team Building Event Kindertagesstätte ADW
As a team guide for CityHunters, I had the pleasure of leading a lively Murder Mystery Geocaching for the daycare center Kindertagesstätte ADW in Wald-Michelbach on October 1, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. The meeting point was In der Gass, from where, after a short welcome and a briefing on the rules, we set off in three teams. A total of 14 people took part — an ideal setup for a real team building experience in Wald-Michelbach.
The atmosphere was great from the start: in fine weather the teams set off with tablets and our app to visit crime scenes, gather clues and solve tricky puzzles. The technology guided them safely through the town center, turning familiar spots into exciting settings. Along the route we passed the Hammerschlösschen, the Evangelische Kirche and St. Laurentius — perfect backdrops for the Murder Mystery adventure.
During the roughly three-hour tour the teams were largely on their own, competing in a friendly rivalry for the most points. Points were awarded for correctly solved puzzles and successfully completed team challenges. As the team guide I was available by phone throughout the tour to help with questions or technical issues — an important element for a successful team building experience in Wald-Michelbach.
The tasks encouraged communication, creative thinking and collaboration: it quickly became clear how well participants brought their different strengths to bear. It was especially gratifying to see how fun and working together bonded the groups and created new team dynamics.
After exactly three hours all teams met again at In der Gass for the awards ceremony. First place went to team Ghostbusters with 285 points — congratulations to the winners! In second place were Die krassen Möwen with 165 points, and third place went to the Lions with 135 points. The awards ceremony was both the finale and the highlight: a lovely ending to our team building experience in Wald-Michelbach.
It was an all-round successful day: exciting, social and full of good spirits. Anyone who wants to experience Wald-Michelbach from a new perspective will find Murder Mystery Geocaching to be an engaging and sustainable form of team training — and we at CityHunters are already looking forward to the next adventure in this town.
