Team Building Event TV Ersingen 1886 e.V.
Karlsruhe impresses with vibrant culture, grand squares and little surprises around every corner.
As a CityHunters team guide I had the pleasure on September 27, 2025 at 1:30 p.m. to lead a special team building event: a Murder Mystery Geocaching for 34 participants from TV Ersingen 1886 e.V., with the meeting point on Erbprinzenstrasse in downtown Karlsruhe. After a brief welcome and introduction the participants were split into five teams and equipped with tablets — the heart of our tour, holding the cases and clues.
The starting signal came under a blue sky, and a lively atmosphere developed immediately: team building experience in Karlsruhe at every turn. The teams set off independently, guided by the app to notable city spots where tricky puzzles and creative team challenges awaited. Familiar places such as Karlsruhe Palace, the State Art Gallery and the Zoological City Garden were playfully woven into the investigations.
Our role as guides was clear: inform, motivate and assist when needed. I was reachable by phone throughout the tour so small questions could be answered quickly. The format promotes exactly what CityHunters stands for: collaboration, strong communication and a healthy dose of competitive spirit — ideal ingredients for a genuine team building experience in Karlsruhe.
After three hours of intense sleuthing we met again on Erbprinzenstrasse for the winners ceremony. Tension was high: the winning team Team 2 scored 270 points and took first place. Hot on their heels were Hunter Killers, also with 270 points — a tight head-to-head that especially motivated the participants. In third place came Blaues Faultier with 195 points.
It was a day full of laughter, aha moments and fresh perspectives on Karlsruhe. A team building experience in Karlsruhe works here in a playful way: the city becomes a stage and the tasks act as a catalyst for cohesion and creativity. I look forward to the next adventure with new teams and more discoveries between the Federal Court of Justice and the Center for Art and Media.
