Team Building Event Gearparts GmbH
As a team guide for CityHunters, I had the pleasure of leading a special Murder Mystery Geocaching for Gearparts GmbH in Heidelberg on September 27, 2025 at 10:00 AM. Fifteen motivated participants met on Universitätsplatz in sunny, pleasant weather — the perfect starting point for our adventure.
After a brief introduction, colleagues were split into three teams and equipped with tablets and our app. The game devices guided the investigators to various crime scenes in the city center, where they had to solve puzzles and complete team challenges. Familiar locations became an exciting backdrop: past the Ruprecht-Karls University of Heidelberg, Heidelberg Castle and the Church of the Holy Spirit an interactive murder mystery unfolded that balanced fun and challenge perfectly.
During the tour, the teams were on their own and competed against each other in a friendly rivalry. Points were awarded for correctly solved puzzles, creative team performances and skillful clue hunting. I was available by phone throughout the game in case support was needed, but most of the time team spirit and good communication were enough to move forward.
The event clearly showed how a team building experience in Heidelberg can work: developing strategies together, using strengths and celebrating successes as a group. Our route took participants past historic sites and gave them space to experience the city from a new perspective — a real highlight for companies looking for a team building experience in Heidelberg.
After three hours all groups met again on Universitätsplatz for the awards ceremony. Congratulations to the winning team Pokémon Catcher with 330 points! Second place went to Die Sherlocks with 300 points, closely followed by Nippeldreher, also with 300 points. The mood at the prize giving was fantastic and reflected the shared fun and successful collaboration.
This Murder Mystery Geocaching combines adventure, technology and teamwork — ideal for companies wanting a team building experience in Heidelberg. I am already looking forward to the next time the city becomes the stage for team spirit and good cheer.
