Team Building Event Benteler International AG
Salzburg delights with its unique mix of history, culture and lively urban atmosphere – and that is exactly what we experienced firsthand on September 25, 2025 during an iPad Tour.
As a CityHunters team guide I welcomed 19 participants from Benteler International AG at Wilhelm-Furtwängler-Garten on Max-Reinhardt-Platz at 4:00 p.m. and gave a short introduction to the iPads and our app. After a brief briefing the groups were formed and the adventure began: a genuine team building experience in Salzburg, modern and interactive.
Traveling in three teams, colleagues set off to discover the city in a new way. The tasks led them to well-known spots such as Hohensalzburg Fortress, Mirabell Palace and Salzburg Cathedral – a perfect way to combine team building experience in Salzburg with sightseeing. Each team plotted its own strategy, solved puzzles and completed creative group challenges to earn points.
During the tour the teams were largely on their own and in direct competition – the CityHunters App displayed live scores and provided extra motivation. I remained available by phone throughout the game to help with any questions or technical issues. The weather cooperated, keeping spirits high and energy levels up.
After 2.5 hours we met again at Wilhelm-Furtwängler-Garten for the awards ceremony. Tension ran high as the scores were announced: the winning team was Fight Seeing with 375 points, followed by Mozart movers with 315 points and ImmerärgermitZoran with 270 points. Applause, laughter and satisfied faces – these are the moments that make for a memorable team building experience in Salzburg.
For me as a guide these tours are always a highlight: the mix of modern technology, intriguing challenges and exploring the sights of Salzburg brings people closer, encourages communication and is simply fun. I am already looking forward to the next company that discovers the city with us.
