Team Building Event Institut für bildgebende Diagnostik und Therapie
What a perfect day — bright skies and great spirits accompanied our Murder Mystery Geocaching in Regensburg.
As the CityHunters team guide I had the pleasure of welcoming a fantastic group from the Institute for Imaging Diagnostics and Therapy on September 21, 2025. Forty-seven participants met me at Kohlenmarkt where I gave a brief introduction to the rules and explained the team split: eight teams in total were in the race.
Armed with tablets and our app the teams set off on an exciting trail through Regensburg. The concept combines puzzles team challenges and city discovery — the perfect ingredients for a cross-departmental team building experience in Regensburg. Along the way well-known sights such as Regensburg Cathedral the Stone Bridge and the Old Town Hall became the scenes of little investigations.
The teams mostly worked independently collecting clues solving tricky tasks and earning points. I stayed reachable by phone throughout the game to answer questions or offer small hints without disturbing the competition. That produced exactly the mix of challenge and freedom that makes a team building experience in Regensburg special.
After 2.5 hours we met again at Kohlenmarkt for a joint debrief and awards ceremony. The atmosphere was exuberant successes were shared anecdotes exchanged and impressions of the city discussed. Moments like these show how lasting a team building experience in Regensburg can be.
The podium was hotly contested. On top was the team Tittenklatscher with an impressive 250 points. Second place went to Kompetenzteam with 190 points closely followed by BDT-Speedies also with 190 points. Congratulations to all teams — the real winners were team spirit and the fun of the shared experience.
I really enjoyed guiding this interactive city discovery. Our Murder Mystery Geocaching combines adventure technology and cooperation — a great way to rediscover Regensburg and strengthen team cohesion. I am already looking forward to the next time!
