Team Building Event CM-Montage GmbH
What a perfect day – bright sunshine accompanied our tour through Hildesheim and put everyone in great spirits.
On September 18, 2025 at 1:30 PM I had the pleasure of welcoming 57 employees of CM‑Montage GmbH at the Novotel Hildesheim on Bahnhofsallee as their team guide. After a brief introduction and being divided into nine teams, the groups received everything they needed for their adventure: tablets with the CityHunters app and a clear explanation of the process.
Thus our Geocaching began as an active and playful team building experience in Hildesheim: the teams moved independently through the city center, followed coordinates, solved puzzles and completed creative team tasks to collect points. It took not only brains but also team spirit – real moments where collaboration and communication visibly grew.
The route led to some of Hildesheims most beautiful spots: short stops at Hildesheim Cathedral, a look at the Thousand-Year Rose and amazement at St. Michael's made the Scavenger Hunt a discovery tour through the citys history. The charming Knochenhaueramtshaus also provided photo opportunities and small bonus challenges.
During the 2.5-hour tour the teams competed in a friendly contest for the most points, and I was reachable by phone in case any questions or technical issues arose. The atmosphere was consistently positive: laughter, small focused groups working on puzzles, and intermittent exchanges about finds and solutions.
Back at the Novotel Hildesheim everyone gathered for the awards ceremony. In first place were Kurzschluss Könige with 225 points, who received well-deserved medals. Second place went to Strom Rebellen with 185 points, closely followed by Drahtzieher with 180 points.
This event once again showed how effective a team building experience in Hildesheim can be: play, discovery and collaboration in a historic setting create unforgettable shared memories.
