Team Building Event HDI
As a CityHunters team guide I had the pleasure of leading a lively Geocaching event for HDI in Hilden on September 17, 2025. Ten cheerful colleagues met at 4:00 pm at ProACTIV-Platz, were split into three teams and set off on a fun-filled adventure in beautiful weather. Excitement was already in the air at the meeting — a real team building experience in Hilden was about to begin.
After a brief briefing and a quick rundown of the technical details we were off: each team received the information they needed for the tour and set out on their own. For us team building experience in Hilden means discovering the city playfully while strengthening collaboration.
The route took the groups through the city's charming corners. At stops such as St. Jacobus Church, the Wilhelm Fabry Museum and the Old Town Hall they faced tricky puzzles and creative team challenges. Teams were largely on their own and competed in a friendly points race — points were earned by solving tasks correctly and working together on puzzles. I remained reachable by phone throughout the tour in case help was needed and enjoyed seeing the many creative solutions.
After exactly two hours everyone met back at ProACTIV-Platz for the awards ceremony. The atmosphere was fantastic: Team LEB took first place with 390 points, followed by Speedy Gonzales with 345 points and 4 gewinnt with 240 points. Applause and laughter accompanied the awards ceremony — a wonderful finish to an eventful afternoon. This format once again showed how effective team building experience in Hilden can be.
As a guide it was wonderful to see colleagues briefly become true explorers, strengthening team spirit and communication along the way. If you want to experience Hilden from a different angle I can only recommend a Geocaching event: it combines sightseeing, puzzle fun and a real team building experience in Hilden and leaves lasting positive impressions.
