Team Building Event BMS Consulting GmbH
As a CityHunters team guide I had the pleasure of leading a great Geocaching tour for BMS Consulting GmbH on 12 September 2025 at 3:00 pm. Seventy participants met at our central starting point on Fürstenwall-Straße in Düsseldorf, perfect conditions for a lively adventure and a real team building experience in Düsseldorf.
After a brief welcome and introduction we explained the plan. The participants were divided into ten teams, given tablets with our CityHunters app and shown how the tour works. Then off they went, with the teams on their own for about two and a half hours following coordinates to exciting spots around the city.
The challenges ranged from tricky codes and creative problem solving to tracking down hidden clues. It was a fresh way to discover Düsseldorf: we led groups to well-known landmarks like the Rheinturm, the Königsallee and the Museum Kunstpalast. That mix is what makes our Geocaching special and an ideal team building experience in Düsseldorf.
I was reachable by phone throughout the tour in case any questions or technical issues came up. The atmosphere was fantastic: sunny weather, strong team spirit and lots of fun solving puzzles and collecting points. Every solved puzzle and successful team task earned valuable points and the teams competed enthusiastically for the top places.
After 2.5 hours the app guided us back to our starting point on Fürstenwall-Straße where we held the awards ceremony. Tension ran high as the rankings were announced. The winners were Die Glorreichen 7 with 330 points. In second place was Fehler404 with 315 points, closely followed by GPS7 also with 315 points.
This event once again showed how much fun an interactive city adventure can be and how shared challenges strengthen group cohesion.
